Joss Stone believes she has an “atrocious personality.”

The 22-year-old singer - who was criticized for adopting an American accent after moving to the US in 2006 - believes she stopped connecting with fans because of the way she portrays herself.

“I think I suffered a backlash not because of my music but because of me - my atrocious personality probably,” she told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. “I don’t give away too much about my private life so people just make stuff up. It doesn’t matter what I do or don’t say. I can just chill alone for months and still be labeled the biggest b***h in the world. But my hair has changed - it’s my real color now. And I’ve made a simple album that I love.”

Joss is proud of her new LP Colour Me Free, and is confident the material marks a return to the sound which made her famous. “I finally got a chance to make music without people sitting over my shoulder and telling me what to think or play,” Stone said. “When I did my last album I was obsessed with getting it right. Now I’m just like, ‘F**k it, let’s go make some noise.’”

Although Whitney Houston is not set to tour the UK until April, television audiences got a preview of what to expect last night.

During last night’s X Factor, the singer performed the song “Million Dollar Bill”...and nearly gave viewers quite a show.

At approximately the 2:15 mark of her number, part of Houston’s silver gown came undone. Whitney had been so concerned with the bottom part of her dress, she didn’t realize the back was really the issue.

The professional, of course, didn’t let the malfunction interrupt her performance and even acknowledged the mishap at the end. “I sang myself out of my clothes,” she joked.

Fleetwood Mac

are planning to release a new album. The legendary band - who kick off their Unleashed tour in Glasgow, Scotland, on Thursday - want to go back into the studio next year to start work on their first LP of original material since 2003’s Say You Will.

Singer says fans have a lot more to look forward to from the band, but say they can only start recording when they complete their dates. “When we’re on the road, we barely have time to go and have a meal, let alone write new material. But in January we’ll have a meeting and decide what to do,” she said.

The legendary singer also claims the band - who were notorious hellraisers during their 70s peak - have finally grown-up and are having a great time on the road. “Fleetwood Mac still presents some amazing opportunities. Around thirty years ago, we were all so self-absorbed that we couldn’t see out of our own corner. Things are a lot more fun now,” Nicks added.

New Moon soundtrack

‘s soundtrack hit the store shelves today—four days earlier than planned.

According to the CD’s label, the release was rescheduled due “to overwhelming and unprecedented demand.” But a leak of the contents earlier this week probably didn’t help matters.

All 15 tracks - ranging from artists like Muse to Bon Iver - were previously unreleased and exclusive to the Twilight sequel. In fact, many were written after the parties had met with the director and seen the edited film.

As of right now, the Twilight soundtrack still ranks at #77 on the Billboard 200 chart.

New Moon, the movie, opens in theaters on November 20.
